Significant Grand National growth for FSB
Apr 2023
FSB has announced significant year on year growth figures on the back of another successful Grand National.
After a record-breaking Cheltenham Festival last month that produced all-time high platform revenue for the four day event, momentum continued across our horse racing product as Aintree's Grand National event proved popular across the FSB partner community.
Across the platform, we reported a 29.2% YOY increase in active platform players as well as a 30.7% increase in bet numbers against the 2022 race. These numbers were supplemented by a race turnover jump of 8.3%.
With dedicated horse racing brands like Fitzdares and Bet Goodwin part of our platform stable, FSB delivered partners an enhanced product proposition for the big race including Bet Boost, integrated forecast/tricast betting and carefully curated special bets on top of our unique proprietary pricing.
Mark Wilson, Sportsbook and Trading Director at FSB, said: “As a UK based sportsbook-first supplier, the Grand National is a hugely important event in our trading calendar and a vital day for our partner community. Because of that, it’s immensely satisfying to see tangible growth this year across many key metrics linked to the race.”
“Following on from our record-breaking Cheltenham Festival performance, these results solidify our position as the leading platform provider for horse racing focussed operators.”
